The dream of life is dreamed on a bed that is too hard.

Jean Paul Richter the man who said this also invented the term Doppelgänger and wrote extensively about beds. I first heard about him the other week courtesy of an oldish Sam Lipsyte novel Homeland that I read because The Ask hasn't come into the library yet.

Anyway I'd really like to be face down, fast asleep, dreaming in my bed right now. Rather than in a weird unslouchable chair at work writing this.

Couldn't agree more.
I can't stop coughing at work.
It's extremely awkward. I'm starting to feel open resentment from other people. As if I'm doing it on purpose. But I can't go home for a cough?! I will be home for two weeks. And then who is going to surf the interweb for funny pictures of helicopters when I'm gone?! THINK ABOUT IT FOOLS.
xoxox p.s could this day go any longer?!!!
