So it looks like Hesher is finally(!) coming out. I was supposed to see it in 2010 at the Sydney Film Festival (after hearing about it for a year or so prior) but due to my short trip and their scheduling change I didn't and was mega-bummed that it didn't come to Melbourne Film Fest or get general release and then ensued talks of cuts, recuts then re-cut trailers and re-re-cut trailers etc which just served to send the negative talk about the film in filmy circles (of my friends) in a deep dark spiral - I still hope that this film will be good (same with Your Highness) and will check it out when it finally comes to light on May 13. Fingers crossed.
